John Paul Jones Arena

At the University of Virginia, the arena replaces a legendary basketball venue. The goal was to keep a compact collegiate feel, but expand the arena's amenities. TBC’s design mirrors the architect’s interpretation of that goal. Full-service cooking stands serve the public and the student body with a unique end zone seating “wall.” A TBC-designed banquet kitchen services club seats and suites. The most unique feature in the arena is the Club Restaurant doubling as the students' Training Table during nonevent times. TBC developed kitchen and servery spaces applicable to the upscale arena club during events, and doubling as the workhorse to feed students daily.
